We will explore and harvest some bamboo to see how it thrives before the cold of wintertime. We will look at the inside and outside makings of these grasses, as well as make some simple items. Hand tools will be provided. Anyone under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

We will harvest natural clay from habitats within the Sanctuary. You will be allowed to create items of your choice (pots, animals, etc.), and take them home with you.

These raptors play a vital role in ecosystems by maintaining ecological balance as apex predators. We will attempt to observe them in the Sanctuary. Please bring binoculars.
