Squirrels exhibit fascinating forging habits that vary significantly throughout the seasons. Talk about various resources that they will find from buds, nuts, seeds and insects.

We will learn techniques of how to ID Golden Bamboo, how to remove bamboo and create tangible items from this grass. Please bring gloves. All tools will be provided.

Come join the Naturalist to learn about the survival tactics and adaptations of this true hibernator. This will include observing their points of residency.

Let us go on a journey to find clues of Spring emergent, from birds to bees to leafing trees.

A chance to meet the director to learn about the opportunities for children to attend our Summer Nature Camp. The director will also share his stories and experiences with the program. Refreshments will be served.

We will seek out some of the earlier warbler migrants, as well as staying in tune with the backyard and aquatic birds. Please bring binoculars. Meet at Visitor Center.
