    Join us in the Visitor Center as we discuss the birds found at the sanctuary and view sample specimens. Then we will trek out to observe the birds and learn about their behavior. Please bring binoculars.

    Bird Bonanza – Observe and build Backyard Bird Feeders

    We will identify the birds that visit our feeders as well as create some simple feeders that you can take home to attract birds in your neighborhood. Participants must register by March 22, 2025.     In this popular program, we will learn the needs of these creatures that constantly struggle for nesting habitat. All materials will be provided to make a box. Participants must register by March 1, 2025. Registration can be done by the following: sqw2@westchestercountyny.gov or by phone at 914-967-8720. Limit one bluebird box per household to take home.
