Volunteer Opportunity! Help remove invasive plants. For those who have visited Read Sanctuary before, the awareness of the presence of invasive plants is known. Learn removal techniques and identification of these problematic plants. Great for Service Credit Hours. All tools and hand gloves will be provided. Meet at Visitor Center.
We will identify the birds that visit our feeders as well as create some simple feeders that you can take home to attract birds in your neighborhood. Participants must register by February 9th. Registration can be done by the following: sqw2@westchestercountyny.gov or by phone at 914-967-8720.
